This election marks ten years since I first ran for office. I served two terms as a Town Commissioner from 2016 to 2020 and two terms as Vice Mayor from 2020 to 2022 and again from 2024 to the present. I have been honored to serve the Surfside community for eight years and I remain focused on the important work still ahead.

From 2022 to 2024, our town experienced a period of deep division.

During that term, residents placed their hope and trust in electing the current leadership to bring people together and restore stability. Our victory in 2024 was a testament to the power of collaboration and our common goal of community first.

Throughout this journey, we have grown together as neighbors and friends, united by a desire to restore kindness, respect, and care for one another. We sought accountability while embracing tolerance, truth, and justice. We moved forward infrastructure projects that were stalled, reaffirmed our commitment to the Champlain memorial, and expanded programs that serve the diverse needs of our community, honoring both our shared identity and the differences that make Surfside special.

I am profoundly grateful for your trust and humbled by the opportunity to serve with integrity and honesty, while protecting the values that matter most to our town. I am enthusiastic about continuing this work and building a future that honors our history, embraces our diversity, and meets the challenges we face together.

As we celebrate 90 years as a Town, it is more important than ever that Surfside continues to thrive as a place we are all proud to call home.
